Air & Liquid Advisors (ALA) is a Houston, Texas based company that actively participates in the brokering of energy related commodities and provides liquefied natural gas consulting services. The ALA principals have collectively 30 years of experience in the brokering of commodities and the development of energy projects. ALA currently provides brokering services to the market leaders in air emissions and provides LNG consulting services to a broad spectrum of LNG market participants.
The market for emissions credits has been established by the federal and various state governments with the goal of improving the overall air quality through the invisible hand of market forces. The two most actively transacted products are SO2 allowances and NOx allowances, the later of which is more regional in nature and requires more detailed knowledge of geographical constraints.
The LNG market is the fastest growing segment of the North American fuel mix and is at present the focus of a great deal of national attention. While the industry has existed in the US since the late 1970’s, the recent flurry of activity has revitalized and pushed the industry into the forefront on natural gas supply options. ALA is working to develop LNG mid-stream assets including liquefaction, shipping, and regassification facilities.
